(Top/Smock from Urban Outfitters, Jeans from French Connection, Necklace from Spain, Coat from Topshop, Hat from the Gap and scarf from Next)
What I wore into university today. I won't lie, I was freezing! Totally underestimated what -5 degrees feels like when it's windy and snowing. the only part of me that wasn't cold was my head which was kept very warm by my new hat from the Gap. I have been hat shopping a lot recently, I tried to wear a faux fur trapper hat (the ones that EVERYONE seems to have at the moment) but the ones I tried were just too big and bulky. This beeny is far more practical and it has a little bit of faux fur on it (the bobble you can just about see in the pictures).
British Magazine that my mum brought over from England
My solution to not having a jewellery box, hanging my necklaces on pins in the wall!
Bedside table, includes English breakfast tea and Cath Kidston tissues sent to me by my boyfriend :D
I am currently on my year abroad studying for my degree in Canada at the University of Toronto for those who didn't know, So I have been bitterly disappointed by the lack of snow here! I was expecting snow drifts 6ft deep in early November. Instead the UK has decided to have loads of snow, leaving me looking wistfully at pictures of facebook.
However over the last 24hours it has snowed in Toronto, and is still snowing now :D I'm very excited. The Canadian girls I live with have assured me that by January I will be sick of the snow and wish that is was summer, but at the moment I love snow, it makes everything look so pretty!

ReplyDeleteLovely Maddy, the hat is cute! My dear friend Simon recently returned to London after six months living in Toronto, he's gutted he missed the snowy weather 'cause everyone kept saying how pretty the city would look. And indeed it does! Hope you're having a lovely week. Sally x
