I bought new Canadian shoes! 2 pairs in black and grey because I liked them so much! I am right in the heart of downtown Toronto and as such, the largest mall in Canada is right on my doorstep! The eaton centre is massive and has loads of good shops, so me and the girls on my floor find an excuse to go shopping almost every week. It's not been good for my bank balance.

This week I am studying hard as I have three midterms coming up. The work load is Canada is very different from the U.K. There is a lot more continuous assessment, and I find myself working very hard to keep up with all the deadlines. They expect us to be able to keep up with all the work, write lectures notes, tutorial assignments, example sheets, hand in a thesis progress report and revise for three midterms (each worth 20%) at the same time. It is extremely hectic!

What have I been up to in Canada??? Well I have been to niagara falls:

It was spectacular. As we drove towards the falls our guide pointed out the American falls, and everyone oohed and aaahhhed, and then we saw the Canadian falls! They are 3 times the size of the American falls and put them to shame. The noise is amazing. And to top it all off we had a rainbow, one of the brightest I have ever seen, so bright you could see it on my camera! It was a lovely day, only slightly spoilt by the tackiness of the resort surrounding niagara falls. It looked like a miniature Las Vegas,  complete with skyscrapers and flashing neon lights.... it was horrible. But the beauty of the falls definitely made up for it!

and to a baseball game which was fun! if slightly boring... haha

This week i'm off to Toronto fashion week, so I should hopefully have some good pictures from that!
