Hey! I'm sorry I haven't posted anything in ages!! I've been busy with exams, but now they are finally over thank goodness! I though I would show you some of the jewellery I have found/bought/been given over the last few weeks. Bought this ring in Topshop today. Went up to London to see my best friend Natasha at her halls in Camden and we went shopping for clothes for my placement over the summer. I'm working at Rolls Royce in Bristol for 10 weeks. It is so difficult to find nice work clothes that are still smart enough to wear in a business environment. There were some lovely things in Cos, but it is well out of my price range, so I settled for some equally lovely, though not as expensive pieces from Zara.
This necklace I have had since I was a little girl. I have no idea where it is from or who bought it for me but I think it's cute! My granny gave me this a couple of years ago. It's a really pretty bracelet and I love the copper inlay on the front. I got this necklace from a Spanish on-line boutique les jumelles which has some really individual pieces. They are often vintage pieces such as whistles or perfume bottles that have been turned into lovely pieces of jewellery. I highly recommend a visit.
Not only is this necklace pretty but it is also a fully functioning whistle! I wear this and absently mindedly blow it a lot so it lets out a shrill whistle. I don't think my house mates were too pleased with me over revision time. And finally this is my lovely new tribal necklace from H&M which I seem to wear with everything at the moment!
I hope everyone has been enjoying the hot weather we have been having.. even though today it absolutely bucketed it down. It is not nice being stuck in a london underground station in the middle of a rain storm. I will be posting some new outfit photos very soon. Maybe some of my new work attire, though I'm not sure yet. Work clothes may be a bit too boring!
I really like the ring! The pattern on the stone is so unusual!
ReplyDeleteSame same - it's been raining all day today. Fingers crossed for better weather! Work clothes won't be too boring :)
